Did you know that the Bible was written by 40 different people over a span of 1,500 years? Parts of the  New Testament were written while the writers were under constant threat and even imprisoned. So much effort went into writing the Bible that it's sad most Christians don't bother studying it. I know people skim over a few verses every now and then but that's not studying. I'm sure you wouldn't travel on a plane with a pilot who didn't study the cockpit manual. So why are you traveling through life without studying life's manual?

Every life situation is covered in the Bible. Want to learn how to deal with people who mistreat you? It's in there. Want to know how to raise your children or have a good marriage? It's in there. We could avoid so many predicaments if we only knew what the Bible said. Ever fall out with someone over borrowing money? The Bible gives you advice for lending. It also gives you principles on managing your finances and on how to be successful.

If money isn't your thing, how about love? Ladies, how many conversations have you had with your girls about that guy who isn't treating you right? How to find a good man is inside that Bible collecting dust on your coffee table. Guys, if you're tired of picking up "gold diggers," try picking up the Bible. 

The most valuable resource God gave us is hardly being used. Do you not realize God talks to you through the Bible? If you're waiting on a revelation from God, he has already given it to you... just pick up life’s manual.
