No Divisions

"Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment" (1 Corinthians 1:10 NASB).

Paul's plea was not just for the church in Corinth but for all of us. It is vital for all Christians to end the many divisions amongst ourselves.

2 basic problems of a divided faith:

1) How can Christians get others saved when there is no consensus on how to do it? Our various beliefs on how to be saved contradict each other. Therefore, some people are not being saved when they think they are.

2) Our various conflicting beliefs make it far too easy for false teachings which makes Christianity appear as a fraud.

Prayer cloths, sowing seeds of prosperity,  instant healing, speaking something into existence
-- sounds  like a circus act. Unfortunately, it's actually being presented as Christianity.  We have got to return to the Bible and get common understandings that unite Christians.

The Lord's church should not be divided for "If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand"(Mark 3:25 NIV).

Think about it.
